New Gens 365

Through New Gens 365, we welcome spontaneous submissions of projects completed within the last six months. Open year-round, the submission form offers practices an opportunity to share their work and be featured on New Gens Instagram and LinkedIn. 

 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for built work completed within the last six months that critically engages with contemporary architectural and societal questions. These may include themes such as reuse, circular construction systems, adaptive reuse, and design for disassembly; climate mitigation strategies, resource efficiency, material experimentation, and bio-based materials; critical approaches to housing and living, multispecies coexistence, and inclusive spatial configurations; as well as vernacular architecture, alternative and traditional construction techniques, and projects situated in peripheral, rural, or decentralised contexts.

Submissions of all scales and typologies are welcome, from temporary installations and interior interventions to collective housing, public commissions, urban transformations, and landscape strategies, as well as experimental, cross-disciplinary, and hybrid forms of practice.

*Disclaimer: We prioritise work that demonstrates social and environmental responsibility. We do not consider submissions involving unsustainable land use, excessive resource consumption, exploitative labour practices, environmental degradation, or approaches that reinforce social, economic, or spatial inequalities. Likewise, we do not consider projects that disregard local needs, cultural contexts, or ecological balance.
