Fill this form to have the opportunity to join the New Generations platform: submissions will be reviewed on a daily-basis, and the most innovative practices will have the chance to be part of the media's coverage and participate in our cultural agenda, including events, research projects, workshops, exhibitions and publications.
New Generations is a European platform that investigates the changes in the architectural profession ever since the economic crisis of 2008. We analyse the most innovative emerging practices at the European level, providing a new space for the exchange of knowledge and confrontation, theory, and production.
Since 2013, we have involved more than 3.000 practices from more than 50 countries in our cultural agenda, such as festivals, exhibitions, open calls, video-interviews, workshops, and experimental formats. We aim to offer a unique space where emerging architects could meet, exchange ideas, get inspired, and collaborate.

The Tetuan neighborhood exhibits a social and architectural heterogeneity characteristic of an area undergoing transformation, shaped by its status as a 'downtown suburb'.
Its urban fabric is filled with unused first-floor spaces, some of which are undergoing their own transformations.
Typically, the main characteristic of these architectures is their impressive concrete structure with pillars and beams, as seen in the case of this 'casa escenario', formerly used as an architecture studio.
The transformation process into a home aims to expose the structure and integrate light from both facades, connecting the street on one side with the patio on the other.
The soft and material nature achieved, along with the mirrors placed on the inner sides of the windows, multiply the brightness inside.
The strategy of an open and clear space allows the house to serve as a versatile setting for combining work, leisure, personal pursuits, and potential activities.
For instance, the bathroom opens to both the bedroom and a flexible space that can serve as a remote working area, a second bedroom, or an extension of the dance or meeting area.
