OPEN CALL, ARCHITECTURE FOR CHANGE

New Generations is launching its yearly open call for projects. Submit your work and get published on our Instagram and LinkedIn channels. Founded in 2012, New Generations is a worldwide platform created to build shared spaces for knowledge exchange. Through publications, exhibitions, events, and other formats, we provide emerging architects with opportunities to showcase their work, connect with peers, and gain international exposure.

 

What are we looking for

We are looking for built projects completed from 2024 onwards that critically respond to relevant architectural and societal questions, including reuse and circular construction, climate mitigation, material experimentation, critical approaches to housing and living, coexistence between human and non-human species, adaptive reuse, inclusive spaces for all, resource efficiency, new forms of living and sharing, alternative construction processes, and decentralised construction in peripheral or rural contexts. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive. With this call, New Generations aims to highlight the relevance of architecture at all levels and the ways in which new practices actively engage with complex societal issues. APPLY HERE

We prioritise projects that are socially and environmentally responsible, and do not consider submissions involving unsustainable land use, excessive resource consumption, exploitative labour practices, environmental degradation, initiatives that reinforce social, economic, or spatial disparities, or projects that disregard local needs or ecological balance. APPLY HERE

> Built projects completed from January 2024 onwards

> Submission deadline: 22 February (GMT +1)

> Projects must not have been previously published on New Generations

> All project scales are welcome

> Multiple submissions are welcome

> All images and text must be properly credited, including all collaborators, photographic credits, and any other relevant information to ensure proper acknowledgment

> Only selected submissions will be notified by email before 2 March 2026
