Fill this form to have the opportunity to join the New Generations platform: submissions will be reviewed on a daily-basis, and the most innovative practices will have the chance to be part of the media's coverage and participate in our cultural agenda, including events, research projects, workshops, exhibitions and publications.
New Generations is a European platform that investigates the changes in the architectural profession ever since the economic crisis of 2008. We analyse the most innovative emerging practices at the European level, providing a new space for the exchange of knowledge and confrontation, theory, and production.
Since 2013, we have involved more than 3.000 practices from more than 50 countries in our cultural agenda, such as festivals, exhibitions, open calls, video-interviews, workshops, and experimental formats. We aim to offer a unique space where emerging architects could meet, exchange ideas, get inspired, and collaborate.

Case Vecie is a 70-hectare agricultural ecosystem subjected to a redevelopment programme carried out by the owners.
The project proposed by Studio MASAAI combines architectural and landscape interventions.
Designed for a new form of slow, sustainable, and experiential tourism, the project links to the rediscovery of the territory through a progressive 10-year growth plan foreseeing the reuse of the existing old ruins, the construction of the new agricultural centre and the placement of glamping tents/ camper pitches.
The facade and the courtyard have been left unchanged except for the introduction of a green pergola and an outdoor cycle workshop.
The existing internal layout has been completely overhauled to suit new use, preserving, at the same time the original rural character.
The ground floor features an open space tavern and a separate room dedicated to the wine tasting of the vineyard’s own production.
On the first and second floors, two fully equipped apartments capable of hosting up to 10 people.
On the first floor, "the fruttaia", room used for drying grapes, has been converted into a double-height space for hosting private events.
Substantial structural work has been carried out: consolidation of the foundations, creation of a new rock-cut cellar and the integration of thermal insulation layer.
The pre-existing materials are combined with typical wine cellar once.
Stone walls, tuff frames, and lime-based plasters, found in the buildings, are merged with galvanized iron and reinforced glass, laminated fir wood and industrial concrete obtaining a new synthesis of agricultural and material language.
